The Range Safety Rules posted on this page are for general information purposes only. This is not necessarily a complete listing of all Club Range Safety Rules.

1. The Range is for use by club members and invited guests only, except for events that are open to the public. Members must make sure guests have read these range rules and supervise their guests at all times during shooting.
2. The range is open for shooting from 10am to 8pm
   Monday to Saturday. Sunday is 11am to 8pm.
3. All club members and guests must sign the range log book when they visit the range.
4. PROVE firearms unloaded at a safety area immediately upon arriving at, and prior to departing, the range.
5. Firearms may only be handled on the firing line or safety area.
6. Firearms may only be loaded at the firing line.
7. Eye and ear protection must be worn on firing line and in the safety area when shooting is in progress.
8. Firearms requiring maintenance must be removed from the firing line to the safety area. This does not include firearms that have a live round or spent round jammed or stuck. Jammed rounds must be cleared on the firing line.
9. When more than one shooter is on the range, A Range Officer must be appointed.
   The declared Range Officer is responsible for the safety of the range and gives the commands to “commence fire” and “cease fire”.
10. The range officer shall ensure that all firearms are unloaded when transported from a safety area to the firing line. Or from the firing line to the safety area.
11. The range officer shall ensure that all firearms are unloaded during a cease-fire and not handled.
12. Keep firearm actions open except when shooting.
13. Never shoot at target stands, cans, bottles, or anything that may cause dangerous debris or bullet ricochets.
14. No horseplay, careless handling of firearms, nor any other distraction while shooting is in progress.
15. Shooters on the range shall use only target holders erected by the Club.
16. No person impaired by alcohol or drugs may handle firearms.
