Practical Conditions League

The Practical Conditions League first started in the spring of 2022 by members of the Huronia Handgun Club. The intention being to have weekly evening meets, or “League Night” where members could shoot a variety of skills based drills and have the occasional match. “Run what ya brung”, and Variety is the name of the gameā€¦ From shooting the League’s Course of Fire, to celebrating history and various firearms types, makes and models, there was always something new and creative at our PCL “League Night”.

PCL Matches are meant to be safe, simple and efficient to run. The Courses of Fire (CoF) are designed to accommodate basically any firearm and measure a participants level of skill. More often than not, matches and League Nights require only 50 rounds and typically take a couple of hours from start to finish. We hope you can do the same at your club in the same spirit. “Safe, Simple, Fun” – Ernie Reid

Please check out the Practical Conditions League Dropbox for printable targets, courses of fire, and the discipline’s Manual.

PCL Events will be listed on the HHGC Calendar.

There is also a FaceBook group dedicated to the Practical Conditions League where anyone can post about their progress at their respective club or range.
